Are there more shy men than women?

Hi,I did the following:

Are there more shy men than women?I've noticed that when it comes to loneliness issues, like not having found a mate or feeling too shy to talk to people, the concerns seem to come mostly from males. Is there a stigma attached to being a woman (with the problem of not being able to attract guys) - or are there less women with social anxiety issues? (i am a woman and can relate to a lot of the guys who have these issues but fear speaking up sometimes because i think there is a stigma attached but can't quite put finger on it - perhaps "spinster syndrome"?)

Women get hit on 1000x more than men so it's no wonder women don't have loniless issues as much. Also, men are more picky with looks, they may wait longer before finding a girl to ask out.

Yes, even in this day and age being a spinster is something to be avoided. As for men or women being more prone to shyness I think it may be equal for each.

I doubt I could attract a man if I walked around naked. I am very shy and I am not sure if women or men are more shy but. I feel the same way. If you can't physically attract a guy then it is almost like you are a worthless shell. And it doesn't help that so many men are into women who have had alot of plastic surgery as opposed to women who just have normal day to day bodies. I think it is probably the same for both women and men who are shy. Even though men think women have it easier since a guy can go to the bar and buy a girl a drink and then everything is just peachy. But what about all those girls who go to the bars and know one even noticed they were their. The spinster thing is still relevent today especially during times like Valentines Day or even Mothers Day. Those both get to me because it just means I am not worth dating or am just some loser who never had a child. Men have it easier in those cases because people are most likely to think it is their chioce. However, as a women gets older people continue to ask if she is married and how many kids she has. And when we say we are not married never have been and don't have children then they always want to know why. Personally I think it is harder as a women to attract guys and start a convo with them than the other way around.
