Can stress cause these things...?I have an anxiety disorder. I get worried about extreme things. Have of them arent even possible. Im 15. For the last 3 years ive had what i call "breathing attacks" where i have difficulty breathing. The longest attack lasted for 9 months. It started when i had a hell of a lot of school work due the next day and i never started it. That was in January when i was in grade 8. It went away on the second day of high school. So i guess i was initially worried about my projects but then i became worried about HS. These attacks seem to come on everytime i am worried. And a lot of times im worried about the attack so it will take a while to go away. This time it started when i had a lot of school work. It started about a month ago. It subsided for about a week but then it came back when i had more school work. It feels like i cant breath in my tachea area so i keep taking really deep breaths or yawning to satisfy my breathing. If im really stressed it will only satisfy me for about a minute then i have to do it again. If im not as stressed i only have to do it like once every 10 minutes. Does this sound like its due to anxiety??
Ive been to a doc 3 times 4 this and they just listen to my heart and lungs and send me home. It does not happen when i do physical activity or anything.
My heart only beats fast when im having panick attacks. But i have GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) and my heart doesnt beat fast when im having attacks related to that

It does sound like anxiety. You should try taking some B vitamins and a supplement called SAM-e. A Calcium Magnesium Zinc supplement would also be good to take. You should be able to get them all at any pharmacy or drug store. Hope that helps!

You definintely have anxiety, and if it's at a level where it's effecting your breathing, then it is more than likely SEVERE ANXIETY/PANIC DISORDER.
Your parents should be taking this seriously,as well as your Doctor.
There are anti-convulsant medications(called Benzodiazpenes) that you can take DURING an "attack" that can help calm you down in about 15 minutes, the problem is getting the Doctor to prescribe them b/c you are so young, they are actually VERY SAFE,the problem is they can be addictive so Doctors do not like giving them, you may need to urge your parents to take you to a physc doctor.
I'd go to a site(Google SYMPTOMS/EFFECTS OF PANIC DISORDER),and make a COPY of the symptoms AND THE EFFECTS ON THE BODY of having anxiety/panice disorder, show them to your parents...maybe they just do not realize how serious this can be,how badly it can ware your body down, and lead to OTHER medical problems:-(
EDIT: Ok,if your "main" issue is GAD,then you should consider(along with THERAPY ofcourse),Prozac,Zoloft,or Paxil,as all these are antidepressants approved for GAD,and they can also help keep panic at bay....in hopes that you won't have to use a BENZO,again they(Benzos) are SAFE..the issue is addiction potential and trying to stop them,as they MUST be tapered-off SLOWLY...otherwise they *can* cause a brain seizure, good luck hun:-)
