Speak to my doctor about anxiety? So I came across the symptoms of anxiety and I noticed I have most of them.. I'm always nervous about something, don't sleep well, little things bother me, etc.. I'm only 14 but I think I would be happier if I could control this "anxiety". Should I speak to my doctor 'bout this? What would be prescribed? (not sure if they prescribe some meds depending on age). Thanks

Definitely see your doctor. He can make sure it's not a medical reason, like an overactive thyroid. He can also decide what type of treatment is best for you. No sense in suffering in secret in this day and age with all of the resources we have available to us.

Yes, there are medications for Anxiety. Your family Dr. may want to send you to a Psychiatrist to determine Exactly which medication to prescribe. And yes, your age has a lot to do with what can be prescribed for you.
