Some good advice and tips on fixing my "paranoia" and "anxiety"?

Hi,I did the following:

Some good advice and tips on fixing my "paranoia" and "anxiety"?I really don't want to seek medical attention, but to get some reality tips. I tend to assume something is going to happen even though it hasn't. I always think of this because of the rude, disrespectful, people of my peer's that give me rude looks throughout my day's.

dont know if this will work for you but it sure did for me.. i started working out, eating really healthy, taking a multi vitamin and drinking a lot of green tea, and quit smoking cigarets and drinking,

i was depressed for years and had bad anxiety attacks for a long time. i have been in a pretty good mood especially after i quit smoking.. may just be me.. go see a councilor if you fele the need.. also you may want to look up 5-htp its a amino acid you get in the vitamin section at wall greens or where ever, it pretty much does what anti depressants do.. increase your serotonin levels... only this is natural and not a bunch of chemicals mixed to gather like the medicines.. once you can really convince your self that nothing is actaully wrong with you and its only anxiety you can start to calm your self down and get rid of the anxiety..

some days i would get up and go back to sleep 2 hours later and stay asleep till i got up to go to work that night.. basically i was lazy, pissed off, had no energy or motivation and was depressed, one day i forced my self to start working out.. i noticed a big rush of energy when i was done.. and every day for a little while i forced my self to work out.. and felt much better every day after i had worked out.. some times you got to make your self do things.. no matter how crappy you feel or lazy and mad you are.. just do it...

ill add one more thing.. start dressing nice and get a good hair cut.. you look good you feel good...

go see that move yes man with jim carry too.. it will really make you think about how easily you can change your life around

This may sound kind of lame, but it actually helped me:

My therapist gave me a Thought Chart last year to help me with my anxiety. It had one column for Situation, one for Feeling, one for Initial Thoughts, one for Secondary Thoughts, and one for Outcome. I go through the steps in my head and it helps me calm down.
For example,
Situation: Feeling unprepared for final.
Feeling: Anxious.
Initial Thoughts: I'm going to fail the final, fail the class, and get kicked out of college.
Secondary Thoughts: That's kind of extreme...even if I fail the final, the worst that can happen is I fail the class. I won't be kicked out of school for failing one class/one class final.
Outcome: Passing the final! Woo hoo!

It's all a matter of rationalization. It's hard, but you have to think of other reasons why people may be looking at you the way you think they are, and maybe that they're not looking at you at all.
